I've been interested in visual arts, photography and storytelling for as long as I can remember. Growing up I gravitated towards photography naturally and seized every possible opportunity to get my hands on a camera. I focused first on landscape photography and later expanded into video, even making short films such as "Lawn Boy", an epic tale of one man's journey to become the world's best grass-cutter--in which I played almost every role. Let's hope that never makes it to You Tube. I followed my passion and worked as a photojournalist at KTUU-TV in Anchorage, AK where I had the opportunity to travel the state, tell stories and hone my skills. Today, I work as a marketing professional and practice photography whenever possible. I'm most interested in photography that tells a story and photography that connects people and place. I'm as excited today as I was the first time I discovered photography, and I'm inspired by the endless potential of combining modern technology with a powerful artform.
